About DiviNav

Hello — I'm Mindi.

Mindi, Robert, and their son Clayton
Mindi, Robert, and our son Clayton.

My husband Robert and I run DiviNav out of a small office in Donnelly, Idaho. We make Bible study materials for people who want to take Scripture seriously and don't have seminary degrees — which is most of us.

This page is the longer version of why.

Why we built this

For years, Robert and I tried to find Bible study resources that fit two things we believed at the same time: the Bible is the actual Word of God, and ordinary people, given real help, can read it well.

What we mostly found was the opposite. Either devotionals that mentioned a verse and then drifted into self-help. Or scholarly commentaries written for people who already know the difference between Hebrew imperfect and perfect tenses. There was very little in between that respected both the text and the reader.

So we started building what we wished existed.

The first product was a year-long Bible study journal — a real walk through every chapter of the Bible in 365 days, using the Berean Standard Bible so every word appears exactly as it does in Scripture. Each day includes historical background, word studies from the original Hebrew and Greek, written commentary that connects the day's readings, reflection questions, and space to write what God is teaching you. Nothing is paraphrased. Nothing is summarized. Nothing is skipped.

What started as one journal became three — Bible in Order, Daily OT + NT Mix, and Alternating Weeks — because different readers learn the Bible best in different shapes.

And once we had built something that worked, people kept asking the same question: what about discipleship? what about my kids?

Our son was asking too. So we kept building.

What we publish

Today DiviNav offers three product lines:

  1. Bible Reading Three year-long journals that walk through the whole Bible — every chapter, every verse, in the BSB.
  2. Following Jesus Grounded — a 12-lesson plan covering the essentials of following Jesus, designed for one-on-one or small-group use. (This one is always free — more on that below.)
  3. Youth Ministry A discipleship program built specifically for middle- and high-schoolers — for parents at home and for youth leaders in churches.

Every product we publish includes a free sample so you can see the work before you decide it's right for you. We would rather you skip a product than buy one that isn't a fit.

Grounded — and Rick's family

Grounded exists because of a man named Rick.

Rick was an evangelist for Cru — formerly Campus Crusade for Christ — serving in both Arizona and Idaho. He and his wife Jane, his college sweetheart, traveled often together on mission, in the US and abroad. They raised their daughter Rachel.

Rick was our dear friend, our spiritual mentor, a faithful Christian, and a tireless community volunteer who spent his entire adult life leading people to Jesus. Anyone willing to listen got the same gift: Rick told them what he had found.

When he passed, one of his friends wrote on Facebook:

What is Rick going to do in Heaven? There will be no one to evangelize to.

That line says everything about who Rick was. And it tells you why this product is the way it is.

Grounded is permanently free — and it will always be. We made that promise to Jane and Rachel, and we will keep it for as long as DiviNav exists. You can download it, print it, share it with your small group, or give it away to anyone willing to listen. We don't want anything for it except this: that it would do for one more person what Rick spent his life doing for so many.

Our first reader

Our son Clayton has been part of every product we've published. First reader, beta tester, honest critic — he tells us what works and (kindly, sometimes less kindly) when something doesn't.

The Middle School and High School curricula are tested in our own living room before they ever reach yours. The questions our family wrestled with are baked into the page.

We share this not because Clayton is a credential — he is a teenager, not a theologian. We share it because we want you to know that the materials we publish for young readers were tested by a real young reader, in a real Christian household, with all the honesty that comes with that.

What we believe

Everything we publish rests on historic Christian faith — the Bible is the Word of God, Jesus is who He said He is, and salvation is His free gift through faith. You can read our full Statement of Faith → if you'd like the doctrinal detail.

We have built our materials to serve believers across denominational lines. We are not interested in winning theological arguments that the Church has been having for centuries. We are interested in helping the person on the other end of a download grow.

Where we are, and who we are

DiviNav is a small family-run company. The team handles all of it — the technology, the writing pipeline, the daily work of building products, the customer side, and the community that's growing around what we publish.

We are not VC-backed. We are not a publishing house with a marketing department. We are a family with a few good tools and a long list of things we want to build, because we think the Bible deserves better study materials than the market has been giving it.

If you have a question, a request, or just want to tell us how a product landed for you, write us: info@divinav.com. We read every message.

Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

— Psalm 37:3

This verse has been with us since the beginning. It's the prayer behind every page we publish: that the people who use our materials would trust God more, do the good He's prepared for them, and find that walking with Him is the safest pasture there is.

Thank you for being here.
