What We Believe

DiviNav exists to help people read, understand, and live the Bible. Because every product we publish is built on the Christian faith, we want to be clear about what that faith is. This is the doctrinal foundation behind everything we make.

We are not a denomination, and we have no intention of becoming one. We are believers in Jesus who make study materials, and we welcome other believers — across denominations and traditions — to use what we publish.

Scripture

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final rule for what Christians believe and how Christians live. Every word matters, and no human teaching can take its place.

For our published materials, we use the Berean Standard Bible (BSB) — a faithful, modern English translation released into the public domain so the Word of God can move freely. Every verse of every chapter we publish appears word-for-word, never paraphrased, summarized, or skipped.

God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in power, glory, and being. God created all things, sustains all things, and is working all things together according to His good purpose.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. He died on the cross as the once-for-all sacrifice for the sins of the world, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead on the third day. He ascended to the right hand of the Father and will return in glory to judge the living and the dead. There is salvation in no one else.

Salvation

We believe salvation is the free gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — not by any works we have done or could do. Every person who repents of sin and trusts in Christ is forgiven, made new, adopted into God's family, and given eternal life.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at the moment of saving faith. He convicts of sin, illuminates Scripture, produces the fruit of Christlikeness, empowers obedience, and equips believers to live and witness for Jesus.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ — all those, in every place and every age, who have been redeemed by His blood. Local churches gather to worship, hear the Word taught, observe baptism and the Lord's Supper, pray together, and serve their communities. We respect the variety of faithful local-church expressions and have built our materials to serve believers across denominational lines.

The Christian Life

We believe the Christian life is a daily walk of following Jesus — saturated in Scripture, sustained by prayer, lived in fellowship with other believers, and aimed at making His name known. We are saved from sin and saved for a life of love, obedience, and good works prepared for us in advance.

This is the conviction behind everything we publish: that ordinary Christians, given the actual words of the Bible and real help understanding them, will grow.

The Future

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. The dead will be raised. All people will stand before God. Those who have trusted Christ will live with Him forever in the new heavens and new earth, and those who have rejected Him will be eternally separated from Him. Christ's kingdom will have no end.

A word to the reader

If you have questions about anything here, write us. We are not interested in winning arguments — we are interested in walking together toward the One who has the words of eternal life.

Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.

— Psalm 37:3
